Cool borbet

I like the look of the borbet type t and e. Does anyone run these wheels on a w124? If so how do they look. I think they are great but i have never seen them on a w124.

Sorry, I don't have a w 124, but a w 202.
Running Borbet Type E's 16 x 7.5" with 215/55/16 tires.
They look great, in my opinion.
With the polished lip, they are very similar to AMG's 5 spoke design.
Great quality wheel and very easy to care for.
Price is terrific as well.
P.S. Can you not see them on a w 124, on Tire Rack's wheels selection site ?

Personally I like the "E" better than the "T" model .... they are well built good quality wheels that do look nice on the W124

superfly,
I have 16" Borbet Type E's on my '94 E320, and they look incredible. I get compliments just about daily, and other drivers are always checking them out, especially the drivers of ricers. They make the car look sporty but without losing the form and elegance that it has already. When my car is parked next to another W124 the difference is night and day: mine really grabs your attention.
I would suggest taking a look at the rims on the tirerack web site, if you haven't already, but in that picture you can't tell how great the machined lip looks, and the wheel has a very definite "deep dish" effect that looks just incredible.
I will see if I have any pictures to post, but I will also add that I got the bright red brake caliper paint from performance products, and with a wheel like the Type E that exposes the caliper, that also is a great addition to the aesthetic of the car.
I could not be any happier with the appearance of the Type E on the W124.

Cool

I think i will order some type E's because they make the car look even better and they are still classy. If i dont buy them i will save up for some 17inch AMG five spokes. thanks for your replys everyone.
