hi, i ahave a 97 c class 200( malaysia) and planning to fit a 17 in wheel on it. i just want to ask whether such upgrade will affect the car performance, i am afraid that the engine will sound more lethargic as it just a 4 pot engine pulling such a heavy car

To retain the overall diameter ( keep your speedometer fairly accurate ), you will have to go with a 45 series tire.
If you can put up with the rough ride of such low sidewalls, go for it.
