Help! Will 2003 E320 factory rims fit my 1998 E320?

These are original 16x8 split 5 spoke rims off a new 2003 E320. I have a 1998 E320 with the original 16x7.5. Will the 2003's work? I have called 2 dealerships and they don't know. I was told that my wheels had a 41mm offset and the 2003 have a 36mm offset? Mine is the 210 chassis these came off a 211 chassis. They are 500+ miles away so I cant try them before I buy. Your help would be appreciated.

Thanks
