a guy had a 230k mile 05 one in MD last month he let go for $4k and a guy in philly had an 06 w/ 22ok he sold for 5800.....i was afraid of the needing 10k in maintenance thing on both

Never know what a car'll cost in that vein. Unless you had the time and opportunity to check out the cars in person and in-detail.

My bought new 99 E300 took $3K +/- in meticulous maintenance and repair costs to get to that 100K miles. However, deferred/neglect of maintenance/repair? It could have gotten to 100K for nearly $0 out-of-pocket. Just depends on the previous owner(s) care.

Much appreciated but I am FAR from considering buying that car!
