Ignition key lock problems
When i turn of the car (key in "0" position) i can take out the key from the ignition but the car behaves as if the key is still in the ignition.
Even with the key out of the ignition the steering column wont lock, the warning buzzer goes off when i open driver's side door and remote key fob functions dont work. Like i said the car behaves as if the key is still in the ignition in the "0" position. Normally after i shift to park and turn key to "0" position in prepapration for removing the key i hear a certain click sound near the tumbler... now i dont hear the click sound. any suggestions? |

This is just a guess. But I think there is something called a shift interlock mechcanism that might need to be adjusted.
When my vehicle was delivered the key could be removed with the vehicle off and not in park. They adjusted something which they said was very easy to do. |
