Clothes Hanger Bar
This may seem like a silly question but it's driving us nuts. Every hanging bar we have tried to fit on the hooks or handles doesn't fit...just falls off. When we go on a trip, we end up with clothes all ove the seat and floor.
Surely, someone else has had this problem. I even asked the dealer and just got a strange look. Any thoughts out there?

Clothes Bar
Same problem, same results. One suggesstion I have heard, but not tried, is to get a piece of PVC pipe about an inch longer than the distance between the back hangers and drill a hole about 1/2" from each end and hang with "S" hooks. To me that would be too weak and you might need to add a round piece of wood such as a broom stick to the inside of the PVC.
Isn't this a real hoot! Buy a SUV from a manufacturer with the hipe of Mercedes and talk about adding a peice of pipe with a broom stick just to hang clothes? Bob |
