is it possible for me to do the motor oil change myself? i am a little handy. and if yes how would i do it and what tools and parts would i need? thanks

You need a topsider (do a search here) and a suitable filter wrench. The filter cover is plastic and easily gouged. With these tools, it takes about 20 minutes and you don't have to go under the vehicle.
