I own one of these powerhouses with a om314 has any body put a turbo on one of these motors? I am not looking to
go faster just being able to maintain 55-60mph would be awsome

This company has done lots of them. I talked to a UK motorhome owner who had one installed and he was very impressed with the difference it made in his ability to hold speed on hills.

I see u have a 409 have you have some reliable/reasonable parts sources for me? I just inherited this motor home it is in decent shape with 111000 mi. I have been searching for various parts and it seems there is no u.s. support for the mercedes truck?or is there? I am afraid of getting stranded somewhere it seems difficult to find lets say a radiator hose.What I am trying to say is that I am having a case of parts anxiety!

yes i have one of these engines...haven't ran it for awile..however there is a turbo on it and it works quite well...turbo's in general should add min. of 30-50 horses to an engine

also im interested to know what horse power these engine om314 have from stock...dougfunk@telus.net
