ML430 Lower Ball Joint

My 1999 ML430 is creaking bad when right rear suspension moves up and down. I believe it is the lower ball joint after inspection. There is excessive movement in the right rear joint and lubricant is leaking out.

I have a ball joint on order.
It appears to be a press in type of ball joint.
I am seeking advice on how to replace this type of joint.
Is there a specific tool I should use?
Heating necessary?
