window problem

Pass side window no longer goes up or down. I hear the moter moving but it appears the window is off track. Is it that simple?

Don't know, but it is simple to just pull off the door panel and confirm the problem.

The more common problem on the pre-2002 is that the window switch itself fails.

Good luck

Easy?

Are you saying that it just required an adjustment? Or, do you need to replace it? (I understand that replacing the regulator is NOT easy due to being riveted to the door.)

Regulator replacement is a DIY...having to drill out and replace the rivets is a pain!

rivets?

I've never done it, but others have said that drilling out the rivets is not hard, just an added pain in the butt! And, you need to get a set of new rivets from the dealer.
