02 G500 - factory 3rd row seat?

There's an 02 G500 for sale locally with a forward facing third row of seating. From the pictures the third row is over the wheel wells - quite high. Is this a factory option? If not, who offers third row seats?

Thanks,
Sixto

The photo uploader is working fine. You cannot upload the same picture more than once. You previously uploaded these same 2 pics in THIS POST.

Check with Europa in New Mexico. www.gwagen.com
They import lots of trucks with rear seats and may
be able to get you some.

Think the dealer is expensive? Do you know how much it costs to train a dealer tech? Or buy the required MB special tools to have on hand?

Europa International in New Mexico is no more. The physical location is now known as Don Chalmers Lincoln, Mercury, Saab. They no longer sell G's or G parts.

Ok, I called them and their Guy that ran the G wagen department
bought all of their tools, parts, and inventory and split a couple of weeks
ago.
The said he moved to Colorado and is setting up shop there.
Hmmm,, I wonder why they don't take the website down then.

The remaining (it had been allowed to decline dramatically) parts inventory is in Georgia. Another supplier purchased the lot.

The "Guy" you're speaking of is now in Colorado. I spoke to him last week. He has no tools or parts. He does have all the records for all G's that ever passed through Europa International; and he will be offering documentation backup with them.

The "Guy" will also continue to sell used G's - mostly on consignment, although he will continue to bring in the occasional "new" Cabriolet from Europe for sale in the US. He will continue to use the GwagenUSA website.

I'm sure that the tools are still at Don Chalmers.

Well thanks for the informative report.
I hope someone decides to help Sixto find his seats.
Sounds like Europa won't be taking back that window reg
and trailer hitch kit I have been trying to return for months now.
Darn!

Is the hitch kit complete with all the parts? Contact me by email, if you want to sell it. gwagen at bellsouth dot net

BTW, I'm not looking for seats. My sister-in-law is interested in a 463 but only as a 7 seater that looks like it came from the factory that way.

Do the jump seats in a 461 have seat belts?

Thanks,
Sixto

They're around and show up occasionally. Keep an eye on Ebay or contact Russ of the old Europa Int'l. I have his phone, if you need it.
