Unhappy 2000 ML430 A/C Auxilary Fans

What would cause the a/c auxiliary fans not to work? Fuse #22 good. A/C relay good. No power to fans. Causing a/c head pressure to rise.

If the control circuit is anything like that of my '96 (which uses different parts for the control), a bad fan motor will cause the fans to not get power. Seems to make no sense, but the circuitry monitors the current. Also the part which directs current to the motor could be at fault.

On the 1998-2001 ML's the fans are relay controlled & the fuse is NUMBER 44.

There is a wiring up-date to allow for a higher amp fuse there...

For ML's there is a separate forum!
