P0300, P0304, P0306 Trouble Codes

My car just hit 170,000kms and finally some major component gave in today. I was driving on the highway and suddenly the car started studdering and I hear a Metal snapping sound on the bottom of the driver seat. So I pulled over and check the fluids, nothing seems to be dripping so I continued to drive the car. The car still drives but there is alot of shaking and hesitation. You press the gas but it doesn't want to go. I got the codes P0300, P0304, P0306, which means cylinder 4,5,6 is misfiring. See diagram, that is the left bank which is on the driver side. I'm actually impressed that my car finally had this problem after I drove it for so long. Very good quality mechanic parts I would say. I thought it was the air mass sensor, but that didn't fix the problem (I had a spare one in my garage, already changed it 3 times). Now the car doesn't go past 30 km/hr and it studders and shakes alot even at idle. When you reserve, the effects are even worst and you can hear the car sound like its falling apart. I believe the problem is on the driver side catalyic converter or the spark plugs on the driver side. I owned other cars who had catalylic converters break down but the car still drives better than the ML. Any suggestions on the fix?
