little help please ................................

I need to change a power window switch for a 2000 ML320 , how do I get at it , ....... first I need to put the window back up , it broke when the window was down , I just ordered one on line , but I need to know how to switch one , its the backseat driver side , it looks like I can get to it from the console , but I need to know how to take the piece inside the center console out , any help would be great , Thanks

If it is a back window and the problem is that it is the switch and the window is stuck down, just use the other switch. Meaning if the switches for the driver are where the problem is, just use the switches for the back seat, or vice versa. If nether the switches in the front row seats nor the switches in the back row seats will operate the window, the problem is not the switch. Make sure you do not have the child lock switch flipped on too.
