Headlight Out
The passenger side headlight went out on my 98 ML320 yesterday. I thought it was the bulb but that's not the problem. I checked the fuse, replaced it and that didn't solve the problem either. I then took the headlamp assembly off and checked the white wire which powers the headlamp and there was no voltage on it.
It appears somewhere between the fuse and the headlamp assembly there's a break in the line. Anyone have this happen before? Is there a logical place where the wire may have been crimped or cut? Electrical gremlins.....the worse kind, if you ask me. Thanks for the help.

The white wire is high beam so you would have to have switch in high beam postion before there would be power.
Lo beam is yellow wire--did you check that?
