Bought a 2008 R320, questions about mods and adjustments

Hi, I finally took the plunge into the modern world of cars...I just didn't have time to keep the old stuff going anymore with family and work etc.

I looked at a ton of new and used cars for 8 months before deciding on this R320 CDI.
It has 115000kms (72k miles) and is FULLY loaded less leather.
Warranty long gone, the condition of the vehicle was much more important to me then any extended warranty (just about all star certified vehicles I looked at had many thousands in damage repaired or outstanding).

I work as a tech on primarily VW/Audi, but we do all European stuff however I have never had access to a star diagnostic system DAS.

Can the suspension settings be re-calibrated or adjusted?
I find the rear is too soft vs the front, it has Airmatic DC with adjustable shocks and ride height, the rear end really "floats" when you follow the vehicle, it handles fine and rides well I just find it soft.

The sport setting changes it but roads are too rough around here for that setting and results in body creaks and groans (not mine, the car!).
The rear get more pressure vs the front?
Can I defeat the daytime running lights? (Canadian) It says no in the owners manual, but I want to control the xenons, I hate idling in the driveway with the lights beaming my neighbors house or with key power on lights stay on.

Is there a way to make the steering wheel shift buttons "manual mode" like the R63? I find it so annoying it will not up-shift when I want, it always seems to hold 5th gear way to long, and anything over 70% engine load it downshifts, despite have peak torque from 1600rpm, there is no way to access it.

Can the steering settings be firmed up? It feels slightly different between sport and normal shock settings, but wondering if more can be done there I hate the light steering (I know I bought a Manhattan maids shuttle, but...).

Climate control-can the default setting be a/c compressor off instead of having to push the button every time?

What is the S or C trans button actually do? I cannot feel any shift difference or response time.

Can I retrofit heated steering wheel? I have the wood version which deletes the standard heated wheel for Canadian vehicles, so no switch either.

Lastly, what can we do about engine response-I want more boost with light throttle inputs, I hate having to dig my foot into the throttle for some power, this is the first of many diesels that feels sluggish due to the poor throttle response-chip re-flash recommendations?
