Question 2001 new ML430

My wife has wanted a toyota landcruiser for years and we now can afford one but I told her to look at the ML class before she makes up her mind. Well, today we drove a new 2001 ML 430 at the local dealer and she loved it and is going for another test ride without me because I make her nervous when she's driving. ( Hell, she makes me neervous when she drives!) The dealer said he'll sell it at invoice or real close since it's a 2001. Any thoughts or advice on this little truck are appreciated. Does anyone know what their invoice price would be? Thanks!

2001 ML430

Hi, I am picking up a 2000 ML430 with 19000 miles, includes Bose, side rails, grill guard, moonroof, 6cd changer for $34500. I think thats a good price, Mercedes are quoting around $41000 for a similar one. So depending what options you get, will determine the price.

The standard markup on all MB's sold in the US is fixed by MBUSA. I think it's 7 or 7.5% above invoice with 1.5% dealer holdback? Hrm, anyway, it's around there somewhere. A new ML430 should be very affordable now since it's no longer being sold in the US.

2001 NEW MERCS

Blau, I saw two new ML 430's at the dealer in San Luis Obispo. I wasn't looking at the other rides but this is a relatively small dealership, so there might be a lot of new 2001 vehicles still om the lots. AuutoTrader.com has 2001 new vehicles listed by dealers,
