2002 ml320 loss of throttle response after hitting bump

I hit a bump at about 30 to 40 mph my ml320 had a loss of throttle response sort of like limp mode. There were no lights or any engine response with pressure on the throttle. The engine was not spooling up and almost no wheel movement very slow movement. Is the transmission out of gear after shutting the engine off and putting the vehicle in park and restarted it drove .Any idea whats going on.

Ok didn't know it could do that.Had issues with the shift linkage ,thought maybe its somehow jumped out of gear slightly. Now that the motor mount is repaired will see if I happens again.
