Instrument lights out on temp, odomiter and clock.

2000 ML 430
Back light for, Temp, Odomiter and Clock all went out at same time. flashed on and off at times (all three). Now all three are out. Note: all three lights come on and go off at sametime. Need help. All other instrument light work.
