Found for sale local a 2001 ML430 with 180,000 miles for $2800. Thinking about looking at it. Is this a lot of miles for this vehicle and what are some areas to be concerned about when looking at it? Also how would this be for towing a under 4500lb camper?

I had a 1999 ML320 that I sold last summer with 306,000 mile son the clock. One owner, always garaged, all service records. Got $3000 out of it.

I think of 180,000 miles as "low mileage."

What kind of service do I need to make sure was done to it? Also the nearest Mercedes dealer or shop that will work on one is about 2 hours away. I can do a lot of auto service my self (have an 82 240d and MG Midget I do all the work on) how difficult will this be?
