Arrow ML post shock/torsion bar adjustment (pics)

Fellow ML brethren,

Despite the cold, a visiting ML-er and I tackled (ok, thumbwrestled) the front torsion bar adjustment to even out the stance following in the recent Bilstein shock/H&R coil upgrade. A previous thread is listed below.

It took all of about 45 minutes to adjust them to a reasonable range. It consisted of lifting the front wheels slightly off the ground, adjusting the torsion bar bolt with a torque wrench, 3-inch extension, 18mm socket, lowering the truck on its wheels, driving apporximately 5 miles, measuring, and adjusting as needed. Total drop in the front thus far is 3/4" on each side. They need to be adjusted a little bit more but will wait until the 430 seven spokes arrive this week.

OBTW, the torsion bar bolt relation to elevation movement is as such: R = Raise; L = Lower.

The 'ride' is a wee bit firmer than prior to the adjustment. Not something to fret over by any means. Handling is MUCH better compared to the tired-ass, worn out slugs and broken coil spring previously infuriating yours truly.

Thoughts?
