Fuel Cleaners and PS filter..

Gilly do you use this at your shop?

20oz bottle of Chevron Techron Fuel System Cleaner

and the power steering fluid does it have a filter? like the other mercedes? now that is a first.. .

I don't think there's a filter for the PS on the ML. It sure can't be in the reservoir if there is.

We've used the BMW fuel injection cleaner before, it's actually Techron. Don't have much call for it though.

The question is....

How often do you guys actually use this stuff? once a year? I'm guessing twice a year...

Only if we suspect there is a problem with an injector.

Just a question . . . .

tabo, if you use quality high test gas, don't you think that the gas has enough cleaners in it to keep the injectors clean ? I've never used fuel cleaners with any gas engines. Maybe I've been lucky! (Actually, a lot of open road driving might be the answer.)

well

I used the fuel injector cleaner on my ML once.. just to be on the safe side =) it wasn't cheap it was $20 canadian a bottle! most stp fuel injector cleaners are only $3 I want the best for my baby =)
