Hey George!

Good thing you didn't pay much for the fuel heater huh?

I doubt you'll find tech help here for that sort of thing but I guess what the heck? If the folks on the mogml list can't answer your question I'd say your SOL. Then again, asking never cost anything.

I think your best bet is to carry out some experiements and see what happens. You didn't happen to buy 2 of those things did you? I would be kinda interested in trying one out.

I'm assuming it heats the fuel on the way to the injector but if the fuel is already gelly then what good would that do? I don't think it heats the fuel in the tank because again it would be gelly and impossible to pump. Besides that there are better ways to heat fuel in the tank.

The only other thing I could think of is extreme cold whereby the tanks are heated but the fuel looses its temperature as soon as it leaves the tank, now that would have to be damned cold!

I wonder if Bernie Ebinghoff might know? (he might have been bumped off the other list for his anti-american antics and such) He seemed to know quiite a bit about Unimogs, too bad his attitude .......

If I get the chance I will ask the local Unimog guy in my neck of the woods. He deals with Unimogs for the idustrial types who use them for work as opposed to those of us who just bugger around in the muck for fun.
