Installing lift gate chrome handle

I purchased a chrome lift gate handle to upgrade my ML.

I removed both screws of the old one from the outside, but it looks like there may be two additional screws I need to remove from the inside.

Do I have to take the inside panelling off the rear door?

Has anyone done this upgrade and maybe could give me a pointer or two on how to accomplish this?

Thanks

Look on the NEW one. Are there any holes for screws other than the 2 you mentioned?

Simple

its not necessary to remove the entire interior trunk panel, the outer two phillips screws only hold the license plate bulb, you have to remove the clips on the inner tail gate panel, then using a pry tool pop out the panel from the sides + bottom, than reach in you hand with a no.10 Metric socket or wrench and unbolt those two bolts put the new one on and put back on those bolts! easy =)
