It could be the resistor switch gilly mentioned..

unfortunately from the pic.. it looks like the 3 switches is one unit.. so you will need to replace all 3 switches =( its called the "operating unit" let us know how it goes! Gilly is it possible if you gave us instructions on how to remove to access this "operating unit" switch unit?

replacing bulb in a/c dial

Tabo, Gilly or anyone else, how would I gain access to the bulb, part 12, in the picture you posted? Thanks.
