Help!
I just brought in my 1999 ML320 for a "B" service and they said I should have my spark plugs and fuel filter replaced. The problem is they wanted over $750 for this service! WOW is that normal? Can anyone tell me if this is something I can do on my own, and any hints on how to do it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Mark |

The spark plugs list for $15 & there are 12 of them & it takes about 1.7-2.0 hrs to install.
The replacement fuel filter($125) is different & requires replacement of 2 lines & the addition of a third line & takes 2.0-2.5 hrs to install. Add 2.5-2.7 hrs for the "B" service & another $150. in parts & what do you come-up with? Also the coolant(antifreeze) & the brake fluid should be flushed

Thanks for the reply M.B. Doc. Just to clarify the $750 was in addition to the "B" service. Sounds like it is a bit more work than one would think. Thanks again for your help. Mark
