No luck at the Mercedes Dealer. I was told they had experience in the past and were successful, so I opted to take my car to them. so much for past experience. Cost $399 and my roof is still open.

They offered the following options:

1. According to their search, there is 1 roof left in the country. If I want to replace it can be done for $7700, but they added they will do what they can to shave off a little with this cost. I need to act quick since there is only one left in the country.

2. go to a custom/ after market spot and see if a glass can be put in its place.

3. Go to a body shop and see if a piece of metal can be put in its place.
