Fog lights
Have a 2003 ML320 with OEM Bull bar. Would like to put round fog lights on it. Two questions: Is there an easy way to wire them into the existing fog light circuit and switch? Also, there are four holes in the bull bar facing the grill. They are horizontal. How do you attach fog lights to this. Really like the large Hella's.

Fogs on Bull Bar
I have a 2002 ML with the OEM bull bar. Same problem. Did you ever come up with a solution? I was thinking of using a piece of 1" x 1" Stainless Steel or Polished Aluminum (1/8" thick) by 8" long on each side and mount it to the back of the bar with 2 screw/bolts. I could then drill a hole wherever I needed for the mounting bolt from the light. No extra holes in the bar was my goal. If you have a photo that would be appreciated.

Just order up the kit, it'll tell you how to do it. Maybe someone who has done this can say how it's done, but they DO mount there with brackets.
The wiring is already there, the foglight switch the dealer has to program to work with the shop computer. Gilly

Note that the foglight harness is fused to 15A...the "mondo-watt", "stadium-light" fogs will blow those fuses everytime!

ML fog light wiring
Walmart sells a complete wiring harness with remote control that you can use to hookup factory fogs or extra fogs(lights). Doing it this way eliminates the need to go to dealer and have car computer reprogrammed so fog switch will work($$). Hooks up in 15 minutes and is fantastic. If hooking up factory fogs just get proper bulbs, insert into factory holder, plug wire from lightbulb into harness, ground the remote controller module and hookup power wire to fuse box for power. You are done.
