brand new ML270 CDI

I passed a car hauler today (headed towards Savannah, Ga) on the interstate loaded down with ML's tagged - ML270, CDI. I did not realize they were putting this engine in the ML. Will they be available in the US? I would like to have an engine/tranny out of one
