ML320 Instrument Cluster
Hello, one of the bulbs is out in the ML, I would appreciate if someone could give me a detailed explanation on how to remove the cluster for replacement of the bulbs.

I've done this task a few months ago using the instructions from this thread...took me about 15 minutes to do the procedure.
Clock Light Make sure you do a search first before inquiring about a task...most here have been down the block...

ML 320 instrument illumination
I too need to replace at least two illumination bulbs, 98 ML320, half the dash is dark. I reviewed the post in the above response. My question is, esp. for Gilly, is it possible to gain access to the bulbs from underneath/back, without taking the cluster out, no matter how tight things are back there?
Thanks! |

Despite the daunting instructions, performing the task is actually quite simple if you just go ahead and do it...just have a small screwdriver and a 7mm socket wrench handy.

By my estimation that would be about impossible to do without removing the cluster. Certainly not worth the effort. Just remove the cluster, not that bad to do!
