Maybe Having a Bad Cruise Control Amp is a Good Thing
Phoenix official dies after jumping or falling from car going 60 mph
The city of Phoenix’s longtime finance director died in Scottsdale after falling or jumping from a moving car.
Witnesses told police that Kevin Keogh, 55, climbed onto the top of his moving Mercedes-Benz, stretched out his arms and then jumped or fell from the car on Wednesday.
The car continued driverless until it crashed into another car. No one else was injured.
Investigators don’t yet know whether the death was intentional, but the cruise control was apparently set at 50 mph. The medical examiner will determine if drugs or alcohol were involved.
