Outlook e-mail VS Hotmail, Yahoo, etc
For my job I use Outlook and the e-mails are stored on my laptop. For my personal e-mail I use Excite. Is it possible to combine the two? in other words set up a Yahoo or Excite e-mail account that is run through Outlook? I like Outlook because it allows me to store the actual e-mails on my computer VS using Yahoo in which the e-mails are stored on thier server. I want to be able to refer to all of my e-mails when I am on the road and may not have access to the internet.

Yes, you can set up as many profiles as you want and then check them individually or all at the same time. Go to "Accounts" in the "Tools" menu and set them up.

Thank you for the quick reply. I will try that later on. I would love to simply open up my Outlook and get my Yahoo mail and be able store as much e-mails as I want VS the amount that Yahoo lets you store.

your web email server needs to have 'pop' access. Gmail does, some others... should be a settings tab or something that will let you know. Then you can configure it to automatically be checked by your outlook program when you use it. Most allow you to either save a copy or download the only copy.

Pop3 is for "downloading" email. You put the yahoo server name in there - like "mail.yahoo.com" or "pop.yahoo.com" or whatever it is and your username and pw in the appropriate fields. SMTP is for the sending email server or "smtp.yahoo.com" or mail.yahoo.com" or whatever servername that is (not sure). You put your sending email server in there. You have 2 pop3 accounts and set them up using: OUtlook ->Tools->email accounts-> follow the yellow brick road OR control panel->mail->emai laccounts->add..same thing.
