Car cover for re-painted car

I just bought a project car that has a new paint job. I want to cover it because it will be stored in a dusty location. Advance Auto has three types of cover, each of which says not to use it on re-painted cars.

Why do you suppose the covers aren't supposed to be used on re-painted cars?

Any recommendations for protecting this car from dust?
