i purchased a 1979 300sd 2 owner car that has a new factory engine and all under the hood, 11000 law suit with jiffy lube. car is silver and pristene.

i am looking for the gear reduction unit that the sunroof cable goes through not the motor the motor is fine. also would like some hints on reinstalling the sunroof geadliner and if anyone knows how to lower other than wheelks and tires.

also if i were to sell what should i ask i will attach a pic this car is hot!

Congrats on the new car. The 116 is a favorite of mine; my first MB was a '76 450SEL. It was a good car to own in 1998 when gas was 89 cents a gallon.

Can't help with the sunroof, but John Olson sells custom springs for older MBs. Not cheap but probably about the best still available today.
