I can't figure out how he is just standing there, motionless.
The pain would have to be fierce. I would think he would be on the floor right about now.

The story is that the dog survived with the aid of a vet, a lot of stitches, antibiotics and pain meds. The dogs tongue was so thick with quills that it couldn't shut its mouth.

I wonder if the dog learned not to mess with porcupines? I am surprised that the dog's eyes aren't hurt.

You wonder what the mechanism is inside the body of the porcupine that can eject a quill with such velocity. And, not just a single quill. He probably unloaded about 100 of them instantaneously.
