I transposed the "ra" to "ar" for the fun of it.......and Azimuth-9 was looking over my shoulder.......he thinks I'm crass when I say "crap".

Yes, the arrival of children has drastically cut down on my colorful language usage; both in writing and verbally. Now I say things like "poo", and out in public too - it's just so embarrassing...

At least the 12 year old really got a kick out of the Diablo character I made named "PooStorm the barbarian".

It can't possibly still be hot where you are, unless it's not CONUS. We left our 100+ weather several weeks ago here.

phoenix. 'Nuff said. Actually, it's not so bad anymore. We've had a little rain and the temps went down yesterday and today. Last week we were still in the nineties. I think summer is finally over though. We're forecasted to be in the mid to low eighties all next week.

We had a ton of rain last night and actual thunder and lightening. Still not up to par though with the thunderstorms back east, where I grew up. We've been low 90's for a while, getting much cooler with the rain. Low 90's is bearable. I draw the line at doing yardwork above 105F. Great chukkar hunting weather.

Well this morning I do have to say I feel a pretty big improvement....that crushing weight in my upper center chest seems to have been mostely lifted..adn the feeling something big is stuck in my throat has lessed to a good dgree....I actually feel far better than I have in a week...and while I didn't sleep through the entire night I only remember waking up once with a coughing fit. That sleep was much needed..At this rate I should be feeling back to normal in a few days...but yes I know its not over then..I still have about a week to be taking the Uber-antibiotics yet..so it won't be till after then I will be over it..

Trust me..I do follow the Doctors direction...now to drop that 20 lbs he says I need to lose too.

Glad to hear you're improving. :)

Bone-- We know your wife is Italian. Now is she a good cook? Could be the reason for the extra 20. One of my cousins married an Italian woman that was a good cook. She finally killed him. He was so heavy none of us wanted to carry him the day of his funeral.

Wife is a decent cook....not as good as her mom or little sister...

that extra weight slowly crept up over the last 14 years...you end up eating becasue she cooked a meal...and not just when you were hungry like when you are single...luckily my wife is almost fanatical about whats good and not good to eat...My diet is far more healthy than it might otherwise be....and is way better than average for an American.

I know what you mean though....when I was working in Italy the neighbor family were colse friends...the father died the year before I went there. He was a surgeon....and man could she cook....Her family was from Florence....
maiden name as DiMedici ....best cook I ever knew...bar none. I still go visit tme every summer when I am there...the mom isn't doing so well, she's in her 70's and has a slew of medical problems...I'm friends with all of her kids...all but two are older than me.

Italian cooking is very regional in style...and style varies greatly from one region to the next.

How come you're not giving credit to my prayers?

My cousin's wifes maiden name was Donato. I have no idea what part of Italy she came from. One thing for sure is that the Italians know how to use spices. My diet is mostly German (I'm a Saxon German) but I have to have Italian cooking at least twice a week just for the seasonings.

If you were seroius it certainly didn't hurt...

I'm actually surprised how fast this stuff is working...it took longer to get into this shape than it is to get over the worst of it.
