Your Opinion on Bras, please

The car kind, of course. This is a car forum. When I bought my latest car, the previous owner threw in a bra. It has never been used, and is from Audi, so I know the fit will be good. I think it might not only protect my car, but make it look good.

I've yet to see one that "improved" the looks of a car, even the original Porsche 911 ones. I understand that there have been improvements in the material so that they can be left on, even when wet. I wonder if UV exposure would cause paint fade lines. Since it's free, consider using it on long drives on the interstate to protect from gravel trucks and bugs, but for everyday driving, rather than a free bra, have you considered the clear 3M paint protectors?

Dust and grime gets underneath and abrades the paint.

My best bra experience occured on the South Nahanni river 400 miles from the nearest civilization. Our canoeing party stopped for lunch on the side of the river and one member walked back into the woods to pee. In the woods she found a fine bra with European sizing in excellent condition. We laughed about the absentmindness of the woman capable of losing her bra in the wilderness. We even took pictures of it on the end of a fishing pole saying we were fishing for Dolly Partons (Dolly Vardens are the local fish)
About 10 days later as we were camped on a sandbar, a German couple paddled up to us in an inflatable canoe. It turned out they had put on the river ahead of us and we had unknowingly passed them. They had planned to 'live off the land' for the month it takes to paddle the river. Needless to say, they were starving and we supplied them with food.
But it was everything we could do as a group not to burst out in hilarious laughter because the woman had on a loose tank top and her tits were flailing around like a desperate Dolly Varden on the end of a hook. First they'd fly out the armhole and a minute later they'd be peeking over the neckhole. None of us ever got the courage to tell her what we found and return her bra to her.

I'd skip the bra but only b/c I find them to be horrendously ugly. My experience with bras is based solely on my fiance'. Her Sunfire came with a black bra (red car/black top so it wasn't an eyesore I suppose). And yes debris will abrade the paint when it gets under there and over time it could leave a line of demarkation. A few bits of polishing took out the abradements. I would suggest using it on the interstate, since her car had no rock chips on it with bra use, but now is heavily chipped on her low hood thanks to her frequent freeway travel. That and when you're going 80 you don't have to be pretty...

I am so disappointed in this thread, false advertising and all. Thanks for the story KE, it made it all worthwhile.

Howdy All,
Oneof the secretaries at work had a car with a bra. She got a new car without bra. I walked into the office and told her I saw her driving home but didn't realize who it was until she passed. I said "I didn't recognize you without your bra on" Other secretary ruined her keyboard :-)

They're horrible for the paint, but useful as long as you remove it after you put it on.
