Someone take a look at it for me.

I want to know if it's an auto or a sticker-chift.

If it's just damage to the roof and body then I'll buy it.

If it's a Cali car born and raised then it probably doesn't have a lot of rust.

EDIT: Actually, nevermind...the oil leaking from under the cap is indicative of blow-by. Belonged to a women, as well. The only time the hood on that car was opened was probably so that photo could be taken.

Or it was allways taken to a dealership with even the slightest squeek or shimmey... I dought the brake fluid was replaced every 2 years, same with antifreeze/atf/hoses/belts... but if it made noise I bet it was replaced....

but again it could be just as you said... If thats the case you can allways haggle extreamly harshly (only gonna know the person for o, say a week)

LOL, how can you haggle with a price tag of 200 dollars?

I could buy that car with my bi-monthly paycheck and still have money to get a couple of nice albums.

Is there anything detrimental that can happen to a car from being upside down?

Like, drivetrain-wise, is there anything to worry about if it has been upside down for an hour or two...

Well, that would depend on how long it ran upside down.....If engine stopped when it went turtle, then it probably would be fine. Just replace all fluids and bleed the brakes. I was really surprised how easy it is for a car to go bottoms up. Saw a Honda flip at Mid-Ohio in turn 9 this year. Car slid off the road and both left side wheels hit the sand trap at the same time. Car went right over. Didn't seem to hurt anything really. As I recall, when they got it shiny side up, he started it and drove it away. Then again, if they only get $50 for it, then it hurts them again...as it should.
