I think its getting better when I walked out of the party store tonight a guy handed me a six of Sam Light and said I noticed you license plate (vet plate) and thanks, the store clerk told him what i liked. I think that was pretty darn awesome. and touching sniff sniff.

I remember whenever I was traveling with my family my dad bought every uniformed troop a beer in every airport, every time.

I've done that, too. Didn't do it until I reached old-fart status. When I was young and a vet I didn't think it was a big deal. The older I get the more sentimental, I guess.

Have a beer on me, Medmech. And all of you Tommy and Tommie Atkins I don't know and never will. I wish I could buy it in person. And to you, silent in your earthen grave or oceans deep, my honest, unpayable debt.
