I'm down in Los Angeles for the next couple weeks and have been for the past week. Now, in my attempt to educate myself with currents events I've been watching the local news on a daily basis and all I can wonder is; does LA have vastly more crime and bad incidents here, or do the local newscasts just focus on it much more than in other major metro areas. I know it's not just the past week that's been a fluke, since I lived here for a year two years ago and it was all the same on the news, nothing really good. It really makes me not want to watch the news and leave here asap.
