Do you really believe we went to the moon
in 2020 nasa is going to try to return to the moon.... When i was a kid watching the moon landings I really believed it was true but 35 years later and we have not gone back... That alone proves we never went... if we would have made it to the moon then we would be building condos on it by now....

When I was seven, we went to Tijuana. I haven't been back in decades. Perhaps I never went.

well
That is why you scored so low on the SAT....
It is a good attempt at an inference but inorder to complete your point it should go something like this. My dad lied and said we went to mexico when I was 7. ![]() |

So I guess they also never sent a robot to mars right?
All the images are fake right? THere is nothing on the Moon, that's why they havn't gone back, space travel is expensive.

I think we went. The footage that really convinced me took place on the first mission that circled the moon, went into orbit briefly, then returned to earth. The pictures of the moons surface as the ship was orbiting, and then the reappearance of the earth in the horizon was so precisely real, in all the expected physics, that I don't think they could have faked that kind of footage back then.
Also, getting to the moon was amazing, but the moon is quite close as celestial bodies go. It takes enormous amounts of energy though and for little payoff. By comparison, Mars is 138 times as far away when it is at its closest point to earth.

The radiation belt is one of the keys to all of this... the excuse people give that there is nothing "on the moon" and that's why we don't go back is BS. We go into space to do tests to see if the results differ and for other undisclosed reasons. If we went on the moon once, you would think we would go again... since we've been in space many of times (often to the same space station) yet have not returned to the moon - and here's the real key: why hasn't anyone else gone? You get the retards with their foil hat jargon because when you start talking about radiation belts and things of that nature you lose them, so it is easier for them to tell you to wear your foil hat. |

An old Mercedes would have proverbially made it to the moon and back. A new one would not. Don't measure yesteryear's accomplishments by today's crummy standards.
As far as not going back - let's see: no air, no water, no food supply, and temperatures that will either freeze you or boil you depending on time of day.
