Pristine Military vehicle for sale

This is a good friend of mine's command car for sale. I wish I had the stomach to use it for a hunting vehicle, but its just in too good of shape. Thought some of you would appreciate it--check out the video:

I've driven the thing and anyone else I know would have listed it as perfect--the guy is honest to a fault. He's already had several callers offer him the $11K to take it off ebay.

In DC and in Pittsburgh they run tours on the DUKW so you spot them on the roads every so often. And yes they do use them in the river as well.

He is really selling it for the reason he stated--he was more into fixing it up than having a fixed up ride. Total opposite of me. I am trying to get him to rig me up an early 50s Willys.

After Katrina he bought a 1 ton super-buggy of some sort to haul trees off his farm property. He hasn't decided if he's going to restore it or not.

Sweet ride!

That is the earliest vehicle I've seen with reverse all the way right and back. I thought that was a relatively recent (mid-70's or even later) phenomenon.
