Thanks.

Although i'm a bit disillusioned with the current way that people are doing hiring. 8 to 5 years ago I would make a phone call, walk in for an interview and walk away with a job each and every time. Now it has become "email me your resume, only selected resumes will be contacted for an interview" I've never had to write a resume before and I know for a fact that its dragging me down. All I need to do is get my foot in one door but its proving difficult.

At this point I don't care if I have a daily hour commute down to the Fairfield area. Shoot i'll drive every day to MBUSA's HQ in New Jersey if I could arrange it.

I thought that got taken out?

(Also I saw a similar SEC the other day....for sale in "needs some work" condition)

Weather has been a little strange for this time of year. I haven't seen the sun since last Saturday, and tonight may get near freezing level. I have yet to see Ingrid in decent light yet, and was surprised to discover filling up under florescent lights last night that her paint is metallic.

I'm hoping to get Ingrids interior cleaned up, which entails taking apart the center console and cleaning all the switches. They all have a nice, sticky soda pop spill feel to them. :(

TX7, your shop has me drooling. Hopefully I can find something like that next summer.

Yeah, the G is in the bodyshop... That picture was taken this past summer... :D

I forgot to mention that my dad bought this today, after being benzless for nearly 6 years.

'08 GL550 with 20k

While it rides much better than his '07 Denali, my E500 wagon is smoother, faster, and has more options and I probably paid a third of what he did for the GL. Oh well, at least I'm not riding that depreciation. :o Gorgeous truck though.

We all thought it would be... The other insurance co. decided on fixing it.

Works for us. Many good memories in that thing.

Ah the joys of home improvements. I'll be helping my father finish up our deck enclosure tomorrow and for the rest of today I'll be searching the land in an attempt to set up a job interview.

Sounds like a (somewhat) easy weekend.

Good luck on the job search. Trying to stay in the same field?

Pretty much sticking with administration or personal assisting but I'm keeping my options open.

I dislike being hollered at. However and normal dignified form of communication will be accepted and appreciated ;)
