I've got to pick up pizza for my daughter's "Can't call it a party Party" at school. I'm going to run to Sears after work and pick up a few last minute Christmas thingies because we've got to get everything wrapped and the food for Christmas Eve prepped tomorrow.

Sunday we'll be tailgating at the Patriots-Dolphins game. I hope the weather holds off (early forecast was for heavy rain and wind, now chance of showers), I've got my sister and her BF (in from Chicago), my brother, father, son #1 and wife going up so we'll get nothing done then.

If I don't make it back on until Wednesday, Merry Christmas everyone and a Happy Kwanzaa and Festivus to all!

That would be Edward Hopper. Thanks Swamp and you have a great one as well!

Speak English! This is America. What is that, anyhow? Vulcan?

I always thought Edward Hopper's paintings looked like they were made for the straight-to-poster market. I prefer the work of his brother, Dennis. ;)

Dayumm, busy day at the detail shop. Do a few cars tomorrow AM, collect some bills (break knees) and that's it until Wednesday.

Hope everyone has a joyful and safe holiday!

I think I'll have to start calling you "The Enforcer".

Either that or Tony Soprano. :D

Say hello to my leetle friend . . .

Dee8go 12-28-2007 09:42 AM

I can't believe it's Fry-dee again already. Maybe this weekend I'll actually get that damned sunroof fixed so I can start driving the 300 again. If I do, then I'll be installing the satellite radio in there, too. Woohoo!

Not sure what I'll do for New Year's yet. I plan to wring all the enjoyment I can out of what's left of this holiday season, though.:2thumbsup

Will try collecting again today. What, am I a beggar? Sheesh.

Say hello to man's best friend...

I dunno, that sounds like an awful lot of work! I still just have my magnetic Sirius antenna stuck on the roof and the wire closed in the passenger side door and across the seat and the receiver just sitting on the console behind the shifer. It's only been a year or so now, don't want to rush into anything! :D Although in my defense, I really ought to replace the two bum glow plugs that went south on me last winter before actually installing my Sirius stuff.

I'm bailing out early today and taking off after lunch. I'm going to try to entertain the monsters for the afternoon so the wife can get a break. I might take them over to Cabela's and blow some of that Christmas money.

You sound a lot like me, my friend. I have it installed in my Lincoln, but now I've got a dock for my 300. It's hard to work on the high priority stuff when there's fun stuff to do instead.

1. Replace plumbing fixtures in two of the leaky toilet tanks in the house.
2. Replace all fuses and repair headlight connector on the W124.
3. Replace defunct light timer for overhead outdoor lights above garage.

4. Teach daughter some bass guitar grooves for church services this weekend night..I'm playing keyboards instead.

5. Attend indoor soccer game...what else? ;)
