Mistress 07-06-2007 07:59 AM

I am waiting for the cable guy to show up...finally I am getting cable. Oh and two flying lessons this weekend and spending time with my boyfriend.

You'll likely never leave home again now. 200+ channels of high quality digital TV and your neighbors may forget what that woman living in your house looks like.

Make sure you get the DVR (digital video recorder).

It allows you to record all of your programs, which frees up your life. You can watch your shows on your schedule, not just when they happen to be on.

*** Vacation? Vacation? I don't neeed no steenkin' vacation!!! ***

Typical engineers' day off...

Three business-related phone calls, have to let another engineer into a site about 15 miles away (his engineer took the only set of keys on his HIS VACATION...)...

Then...Riverfest ID-ashkickin' time...

I just love the look on a pube's face when he's getting caught...

Brightens up my evening like nothing else... ;)

Don't get burned this weekend (physically as well as figuretively...)

:P

Paul is a DVR the same thing as a Tivo? Does using a DVR require any additional expense as for a subscription? I think Tivos require that.

Yep, a DVR is like a Tivo but doesn't require a subscription.

Don’t be getting disrespectful with my aviator friend’s posts, Nick. We’ll find your house with 10K+ range balls from 1000 AGL quicker than you can say “Holy Sht!! This hail don’t melt !!”
(Mods note: That’s not to be taken as a personal threat mind you. Only a threat to his roof, ceilings, furniture, all his outside landscaping, shrubs, trees and Lord help him if he has a pool.) :D

So how’s the new cable, Mistress ?! Certainly better than Martha and John, huh? Did a little F-A track on your Glass 7-Tango. Looks like today was a circle and a trip up north. Hope it was a good one. Keep safe girl.

DJ has been loving the first blue sky’s here in what seems like forever. Put 14 on the Hobbs yesterday, and at least another 12 today. She’s still up now. Wearing out the 300L, I’d say. Quick as she can refuel it, she’s up again. Had me fuel it once so she could grab a sandwich. She’s gone mad.....
I took the kids up to see the dam at Texoma today. Pretty cool sight, Wiskeydan. Thanks for keeping us posted on the crest.

I think Lake Granbury’s spill looks more frightening though. The Brazos is a mess. Can’t remember seeing so much red water up north though. All pretty awesome (if that’s the right word for it). Just glad to see some blue skys for a change. If we can get up into the 90s. These few little cells will be worth getting the Grob out for.

Top rudder in the turns, all !!

Hey now, I probably have some algae on my house too.

But that house looks kindof like a hunting club lodge, IMHO. Architecturally speaking.
