I drove to Beverly Hills Lexus to give the finance guy the check for my car, then headed on down to Venice Beach to have lunch at a BBQ joint that was I saw featured on the Food Network channel on cable.

I think the place was called Baby Blues BBQ. I had the combination platter: pulled pork, beef brisket, and sliced sausage links with a side of cole slaw, then polished it off with a slice of banana cream pie. Washed it all down with Southern style sweet tea. :D I have had BBQ all over the country, but I think this is the best BBQ I have ever had.

Just got home, and it's still 103 degrees F. I think I'll put on the gym shorts and go out for a 3 mile run.
