Since he has neither a cutter or a baler to do the job, all he'll do is talk about how you should bale properly with a device of your own, that you manufactured in your spare time from spare Mercedes, Gravely and air-cooled Volkswagen parts using a homemade welder.

Enjoy your drive, Mark

I laughed my a$$ off on the way home from NC last Sunday, listening to the Blue Collar Comedy channel on Sirius. What a great invention, satellite radio.

I'll be making somemore of the never-ending repairs to my house and then off to shop for a car for my older daughter. I'll find some time in there somewhere to smoke a cigar, I'm sure.

At this point and time I would probably listen attentively for advice. I have never lived in a place where the grass grows like it does here ...and of course the o/h wanted a piece of land like we had in Oregon. I am acutally looking at this:http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=010&item=200015654195&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1

Why thank you. Hope she thinks so. Of course I will be. Once I get her squared away car-wise, then I can get back to finding one for me.

Hmm

Helped dad install some shocks on the truck, and putting two new front calipers and discs, and new pads all around on the W115. Also need to tape off the hubcaps for next weeks new paintjob.

Wow! Busy folks over here!

For once, there is no soccer occupying my entire weekend, so I can finally catch up on at least one big project I failed to do this summer.

This weekend, I'm painting my home studio...now that the giant hole in the wall is housing some of the equipment, I am going to paint the room charcoal grey so that the acoustical foam pieces I get later won't look awful, and the stray cables will blend in the background a little better.

Lots of fun this weekend

Going out with some buddies tonight. I do this about twice a year so I am looking forward to it. Have to work half a day tommorow, but then the fun begins.

I bought a 1987 300TDT last weekend and I am going up to CT to pick it up. The head is already off of the car so it is a non runner. I am walking on the Orient Point ferry then U-Haul is actually picking me up at the ferry and then I am renting a truck and tow dolly and taking the car back to our house. I am so excited. Another Mercedes in the family.

On Sunday I am working on our patio. Cutting pieces of Limestone and setting them. Not as gratifying as working on a Mercedes but still fun.

My condolences. Lakeland was a real backwards town, but that was (gulp) 27 years ago. I am sure it has grown like the rest of central Florida.

I just noticed

Hey, riethoven, I just noticed you have a Bobcat. Really? How did you come to have that?

If I had one of those, I'd be flying around my "estate" on it all weekend. I thought I would try to buy one used once, but the thought went away.

I certainly could put one to good use, though.
