How to make a pocket PC to work as a GPS

I just purchased a 8125 and I was told it can interface with a GPS via Bluetooth. How does it work? What do I need to purchase, and where can I purchase the required items in order to have the MDA also works as a GPS. Any suggestion is appreciated.

I got one of these on eBay for much less than MSRP -

http://www.garmin.com/products/gps10/

Basically what it is is mapping software that gets you from point A to point B along navigable paths with the benefit of turn-by-turn directions (turn left here, turn right there). The GPS receiver tells the software where you are at a given moment so the software can determine where to put an arrow on the map, in what direction you're going an how fast.

It works well except that even on full blast I can't hear the PDA over the stereo at moderate levels, and preventing the screen from dimming uses up battery charge very quickly.

Treo 650

Anybody tried doing GPS with a Treo 650? I'm kind of afraid to put anything additional on my phone because it works fine now and I have not had good luck with asking too much of any of my electronic devices. Still, it would be nice to have that function in the phone, too.

While we're on this subject, how about on a TREO 700w or a Motorola Q?

I have not, but since the company outfitted us with 650's some have. The version that looks the best is Tom Tom's. One common complaint is the volume on the 650 is crappy and earpiece is mandatory.

Google Navman. Buy.com had one last week for around 250. Basically a windows PDA with GPS built in. I have an older model of the unit and it works really well. Tried the PDA add on route and it's a lot of crap to haul around if you traval a lot like I do. I also just picked up the Garmin 330 model for my wife for 399 and it's got to be the easiest GPS to use on the market.
