Weird driving positions...Semi trucks.
Today I saw an owner driver Kenworth with a level steering wheel ( Flat, like an old Ford model T, as opposed to the normal angle . ) at chin height,
and the drivers eye level with bottom of windshield.  How in blazes can you see to drive like that !  Drove semi myself all over Europe, but never saw the likes of this...how can you possibley judge where you are on the road ? I liked my eye level to be half way up the windshield. While I'm at it, what's with this girls...'sleeves below the knuckles' thing now ? Fer goodness sake.....pull yer sleeves up, turn yer hat round, put the blasted phone down and concentrate on ya drivin' !

Wish it where that simple Mistress.......he was normal size but he was sitting on a seat that must have been 4 inches of the cab floor.
He was in an 'ape hanger' position, like on a hog. The gear shift knob was level with steering wheel. . .

Strange bird.
Today I saw a lady with one pants leg rolled up to just under her knee, and the other one full length. THAT caught my eye but not much else...

was it jet black with no chrome whatsoever.also did it have suicide doors.if so it belongs to a guy with a russian sounding name,dvorek or something like that,he's won some supertruck award like 2 or 3 years in a row with it.

Pretty soon semis won't have drivers at all. Hell, surgery can be performed remotely now, so why not driving trucks? Picture a big control room full of virtual drivers, each controlling their rig via cameras, whereever it might be. There would no longer be a need for down time due to meals and sleeping, just put a new guy in the booth.
