No Soup For You And Other Recipies
Fall is upon us and I thought it might be a good time to share some soup and or stew recipies with our fellow forum members. I know there are many great chefs amoung us, me not being one of them my talents lie elsewhere....

|
Cook 2 cups of leeks or scallions or both in 2 tbs butter until tender. Add 6-7 cupes chicken stock, 2c sliced potatoes, 2 c diced carrots and 2 c diced turnips or rutabega. Cook until tender--about 20min. Remove 2c of the vegetables. Puree remaining. Reheat soup, add removed vegetables, add 1 c heavy cream, heat but do not boil. whisk in 2 tbs of butter.
Consume with relish.
